Fees for assessment, therapy, and instructional services are aligned with the guidelines set by the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).

Insurance and Benefits Coverage

Many extended health benefit plans provide partial or full coverage for speech-language pathology services for employees, spouses, and dependents. It is recommended that you consult your insurance provider to confirm your plan’s eligibility and coverage details.

Accent Modification Services

Accent modification is considered an instructional service, and as such, it is typically not covered by extended health benefits. However, some employers may reimburse these fees through professional development or continuing education allowances.

Because accent modification instruction is designed to significantly improve verbal intelligibility, it can directly support communication in professional and workplace settings. You are encouraged to speak with your employer to explore whether reimbursement options are available.
